This problem will be analyzed with acculturation and cultural diplomacy theory that is explained and analyzed how Japan Foundation using language as an instrument for cultural diplomacy to achieve its goal. This study indicates that Japan Foundation as an agent of acculturation plays a big role to expand Japanese language as Indonesian people gave a big interest to Japanese culture.
