Researchers use qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Researchers used purposive sampling technique and data collection methods in this study using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation data related to 4 subjects, namely mothers who have children with schizophrenia with evidence of medical records from Atma Husada Mahakam Mental Hospital Samarinda. In Subject JU, it can be seen from the aspects of resilience and lack of support factors that influence the resilience of subject JU to fulfill the stages of thriving resilience, but at present subject JU only reach the recovery stage. subject MA, reaching the thriving stage of subject MA are always given advice and encouragement by their own husbands, given positive things in dealing with problems. Subject MA have their own thoughts that must be able to deal with problems in the future because they learn from previous problems. The subject FA, reached the stage of developing rapidly because the subject FA had the thought of having to be brave to deal with the problem, and felt an inner bond with their children that made the subject FA keep the spirit of caring for their biological children. The subject FA was also given advice, positive things, and enthusiasm by her husband not to fall into a condition that he experienced. The subject IN, reaching the rapidly developing stages of the subject IN have a future life plan so that their children are always well maintained, the subject IN conditions always seem to smile to people when they meet. Subject IN do not want to be like other people who experience problems to be stressed and felt very deep, subject IN want him to remain friendly, help others, and focus on the condition of his child.
