  • 4. Description [Abstrak] : Niger is a country with a very low level of education. Poverty, entrenched culture and the food crisis are the main obstacles for Nigeriens. This problem make Oxfam helps Niger. The type of research used is descriptive with qualitative methods. In collecting data, this research uses secondary collection techniques. This research uses the concept of international organizations, specifically the role of non-government international organizations. The results of this research indicate that Oxfam’s role in dealing with education problems in Niger was as a facilitator, catalyst and collaboration implemented through several projects, namely, The Essential Service, Education support in the Departments of Matamèye, Magaria and Tanout, (Région de Zinder), and My Rights My Voice. The results of Oxfam’s projects in overcoming the problems of education in Niger can be seen from the increasing number of elementary school children’s participation, the quality of the teacher, and classrooms. This is a development of Oxfam projects that accelerate the improvement of education in Niger.
